Hi, I’m Sophie
I'm a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Hypnotherapist using Hypno-CBT® living in Wigan, Greater Manchester. I specialise in helping adults and children with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, worry, weight and eating and low confidence. My aim is to empower both adults and children to not just survive but to thrive by giving you the tools you need to cope better and support you to take back control.

How does it work?
Some clients want CBT, some hypnotherapy and others want a mix of both, it’s 100% up to you. During your sessions, the focus is entirely on you and your unique needs. The approach is carefully tailored to facilitate quick and effective change, guiding you towards a more fulfilling and resilient future.

There are two ways we can make the initial contact:
Free Consultation: This a 20 minute call (Zoom or over the phone) where we can get to know each other and find out if we can work together.
Get in touch via email: I will send you a form to fill in and some info about me, from there we can decide if we are a good fit.
You are under no obligation to book sessions with me after. You can take your time to make a decision, and if you decide later on that you want to proceed with sessions we can jump straight into the assessment session and get started.
Please note: If during our initial consultation, it becomes evident that the support you require falls outside my area of expertise, I am at liberty to decline to work with you.

An informal conversation that can last up to 1 hour. Here we talk about what you would like help with and what your goals are.
You will learn all about hypnotherapy and how it can help you. You will have the chance to ask any questions or voice any concerns.

These sessions last about 50-60 minutes.
By using a combination of talking therapy, CBT and hypnosis techniques we focus on finding solutions to your problems without dwelling on the past.
